When we persevere with persistence and don’t give up we win the prize. The Christian life was never promised as an easy way to live. Instead Paul constantly reminds us that we must have a purpose and a plan because times will be difficult and satan will attack. But we never persevere without the promise of a prize – a promise God will keep.
And what is the prize? – a crown that will last forever, we will reap eternal life, we can take our stand against the devil’s schemes, we will live with Christ and reign with Him and we know that He always remains faithful to us and always carries out His promises.
