Welcome to our service today. It’s great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee.
It is common at the start of a New Year to hear people say or to read somewhere ‘New Year, New Me’. But what does that mean? A new diet, better financial principles, more or less exercise, a new this or that? These are all good things however firstly I prefer the saying ‘New Year, More of You Lord’.
What does that look like? More time in His presence, more time in prayer, more time reading the Word, more time in worship, more time sitting at His feet and getting to know Jesus more….more being led by the Holy Spirit rather than in our own strength.
I certainly know which will be more beneficial for me. I’ve started a new spiritual discipline this year – journaling. It’s something I have felt led to do and so far I’m really enjoying it and finding it really encouraging. Maybe there’s a ‘new’ something that the Lord is leading you into this year. Let me encourage you to take some time to sit at the feet of Jesus and discover what that might be for you.
With love & blessings,
Sandra
