Welcome to our service today. It’s great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee. We are also having a shared lunch after the service today. We invite you to stay and join with us for this also if you are able.
What an exciting day as we celebrate together the baptisms of Anna and Cam. If you are here as friends and family of these two we warmly welcome you and invite you to just relax and enjoy the service and this celebration.
Today we will hear the testimony (or story) of both of these young people’s journey to this point in their faith. Although they do this individually it is a group effort in a way! Years of faithful prayer from family, friends and now their church family have brought them to this point. We give thanks and praise to God for bringing them this far as they make this public declaration. We stand with them today and continue to pray for them as they grow in their relationship with Jesus. That is what family does. We support one another, we pray for one another, we teach one another, we learn together and we love one another. We are brothers and sisters in Christ. And today we rejoice together .
