Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for morning tea.
The church is a beautiful picture of God’s design. Though we come from different backgrounds, personalities, ages, and experiences, we are united through our faith in Jesus Christ. Paul reminds us that there is “one body and one Spirit… one Lord, one faith, one baptism” (Ephesians 4:4–5). Our unity is not built on agreeing about every preference but on belonging to the same Saviour.
Just as the human body has many parts with different functions, so the body of Christ is made up of people with different gifts. Each member is valuable, and each has a role to play. When we serve one another with humility, patience, and love, the church becomes a powerful witness to the world.
Unity does not mean uniformity. God delights in our diversity, yet He calls us to live in harmony, forgiving one another as Christ has forgiven us. When disagreements arise, we are to seek reconciliation rather than division, remembering that love is stronger than pride.
Let us be asking the Lord to help us build unity wherever He has placed us. We can encourage a fellow believer, extend grace, and seek peace. As we walk together in Christ, the world catches a glimpse of His love through His united people.
