Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for morning tea.
Jesus’ final words to His disciples were clear: “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Sharing the gospel is not a task reserved for pastors, missionaries, or gifted evangelists – it is the joyful calling of every follower of Christ. We have each experienced God’s grace, forgiveness, and love, and He invites us to share that same hope with others.
Reaching people with the gospel often begins with simple acts of kindness, genuine conversations, and lives that reflect Christ. Before we speak, people often watch. They notice our patience, our compassion, our integrity, and the peace we possess in difficult circumstances. These become opportunities for us to explain the reason for the hope within us (1 Peter 3:15).
Not everyone will respond positively, and that can be discouraging. Yet our responsibility is not to change hearts – that is the work of the Holy Spirit. Our role is simply to sow the seed faithfully, trusting God to bring the harvest in His perfect timing.
With love & blessings,
Sandra
