Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for morning tea.
Spiritual maturity is not something that happens overnight. Just as a child grows gradually into adulthood, believers grow steadily into Christlikeness through a lifelong journey of faith. God is patient with us as He shapes our hearts, minds, and character.
Often, we measure growth by visible achievements or spiritual experiences. Yet true maturity is seen in quieter ways: a growing love for God, a deeper trust during trials, greater patience with others, and a willingness to obey God’s Word. It is revealed when we respond to difficulties with faith rather than fear, and when we choose forgiveness over resentment.
Growth sometimes comes through seasons of testing. Challenges expose areas where we still need God’s transforming work. While these experiences may be uncomfortable, they are often the very tools God uses to refine our faith and draw us closer to Him.
The goal of Christian maturity is not perfection but becoming more like Jesus. As we spend time in prayer, study His Word, worship with His people, and depend on the Holy Spirit, He continues His work within us.
With love & blessings,
Sandra
