Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for morning tea.
Pain is one of life’s greatest mysteries. None of us seek it, yet all of us experience it. Whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, pain has a way of reminding us of our weakness and our need for God.
The Bible does not promise a life free from suffering. In fact, Jesus Himself was described as “a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief” (Isaiah 53:3). Because He suffered, He understands our pain completely. When we cry out to Him, we are not speaking to a distant God but to a compassionate Saviour who knows what it is to hurt.
Pain often drives us to depend on God in ways that comfort and ease never could. Through trials, our faith is refined, our character is shaped, and our hope is anchored more firmly in Christ. As Paul wrote, “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him” (Romans 8:28).
If you are walking through pain today, remember that God has not abandoned you. He walks beside you in every tear and every struggle. One day He will wipe away every tear, and suffering will be no more.
With love & blessings,
Sandra
