Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for morning tea.
There is something uniquely powerful about gathering together in worship. While personal devotion is vital, God never intended for faith to be lived in isolation. From the early church meeting daily (Acts 2:46) to the call in Hebrews 10:25 not to neglect meeting together, Scripture reminds us that worship is meant to be shared.
When we come together, our voices unite in praise, strengthening one another’s faith. A weary heart can be lifted simply by hearing others sing truth. A discouraged spirit can be renewed through shared prayer and encouragement. In worship, we remind each other who God is – faithful, sovereign, and worthy – regardless of our circumstances.
Corporate worship also reflects the nature of God’s Kingdom. It is a foretaste of Heaven, where people from every nation will worship together before the throne. When we gather, we step into something bigger than ourselves – we become part of a living, breathing testimony of God’s grace at work in His people.
Let’s not take this gift lightly. Let’s make it a priority, not out of obligation, but out of joy. Come ready to give, to receive, and to glorify God together.
With love & blessings,
Sandra
