Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee.
Planning for tomorrow is time well spent; worrying about tomorrow is time wasted. Sometimes it can be difficult to tell the difference. Careful planning is thinking ahead about goals, steps and schedules and asking for and trusting in God’s guidance. When done well, planning can help alleviate worry. Worriers, by contrast, are consumed by fear and find it difficult to trust God. They let their plans interfere with their relationship with God.
We are instructed to “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness” (Matt 6:33), turning to God first for help, asking Him to fill our thoughts with His desires, taking His character for our pattern of living and serving and obeying Him in everything we do. When we do this we need not worry, knowing that He is with us every step of the way, urging us on in all He has called us to be and do.
With love & blessings
Sandra
