Welcome to our service today. It’s great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee. If this is your first time at BBC we especially welcome you.
I don’t know about you but for me Easter brings up a range of emotions. They include awe, quiet reflection, gratefulness, repentance, amazingness (is that a word?!) and just wanting to shout Hallelujah! What are they for you?
That God would allow His only Son to suffer such a painful death is hard to take in. Yet He did…..for you and me. Why – because He loves us. I can’t imagine a clearer definition of love. And of course it doesn’t end there. Three days later Jesus rose again. He conquered death and won the victory. And in Him so do we. As we heard last weekend life on this earth is so short but when we walk with Jesus life after our physical death is eternal when we will go to live with Him forever. What a message we have to share.
May this Easter once again be a time of grateful reflection and wonderful celebration wherever you are. CHRIST IS RISEN – HE IS RISEN INDEED!
With love & blessings, Sandra
