Welcome to our service today. It’s great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee. If this is your first time at BBC we especially welcome you.
I love the scripture in Luke 12 where Jesus tells us that God knows the number of hairs on our head – easier for Him to know that for some than others!! But in reading this scripture I understand how much He values us. He then goes on to say not one sparrow is forgotten by God and that we are worth more than many sparrows. Many of Jesus’ listeners were poor and worn down and felt forgotten and worthless. Maybe you feel like that today? But remember – in God’s eyes, you are so valuable that He sent His Son Jesus to save you. His One and Only Son!!
As we begin the period of Lent leading up to Easter and remember Jesus’ suffering and death and our own unworthiness, remember that we are worth the death of God’s only Son. We are valuable and God does not forget us. Praise God!
With love and blessings,
Sandra
