In the gospels we read of the greatest commandment to ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul and mind’. What does is mean to love God with all of our mind?
I read a quote this week that said ‘A mind expanded never returns to it’s original size’. I am not an academic. However I do know how important it is for me to read the Bible – every day, and to not just read it, but to meditate on it, study it, memorise some of it and to grow in my understanding of what was written hundreds of years ago, inspired by the Holy Spirit. The more I do this the more I will understand Jesus and the more my relationship with Him will grow.
In our life group we are currently studying the book of Acts. This has been inspiring and it has been good to study it together and discuss what it is saying to us. Can I encourage you that if you aren’t currently in a life group to consider joining one, or maybe even starting one! Together we can learn, grow and know our Saviour more.
