Welcome to our service today. It’s great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee. If this is your first time at BBC we especially welcome you.
It was so encouraging to hear the testimony last week of Kate’s healing from sciatica. When I think back over the past 8 years in our time here at BBC I can recount numerous healings that have taken place including some of my own! Often when we pray for many but only see the occasional one we can lose heart – does God really heal? But when we look back over the years they add up. Of course there are many questions that go along with the whole area of healing – why them? why not me? when? do I need more faith? am I not good enough?. We will never know the answers to some of these questions but one thing we can be assured of is that Our God DOES heal.
As believers we are called to pray for those who need healing as the disciples did, ‘going from village to village proclaiming the good news and healing people everywhere’. We have been given all power and authority to pray for the sick in Jesus name, so let us stay close to the Holy Spirit and be bold and pray for those who He leads us to.
With love & blessings, Sandra
