Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee.
“If you begin and finish your days with thoughts of gratitude, you’ll find yourself living from a place of abundance rather than lack. Those first and final moments set the tone for the many minutes that fall in between.”
In the Bible we find numerous verses that encourage us to be grateful/thankful and to give thanks. In the New Testament alone thankfulness comes up 71 times and most of these instances are the word thankfulness or a related word. “Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”. Note the word ALL! From the moment we get up in the morning until the moment we go to sleep we are to be grateful. Lately when I’ve found myself in a situation or emotion or place I’d rather not be, instead of moaning I’ve tried to turn it around and give thanks to God for the good that will come out of it. That certainly changes your perspective J And don’t we have so much to be grateful for?!
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be known to God.” I trust this is an encouragement to you this week.
With love & blessings,
Sandra
