Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee.
Christians are to rejoice. In order to do that we only need to think of the great things God has done for us. Then we are told not to be anxious, but in our prayers to make our requests known to God. In our biggest problems we have One to whom we can go; and before Him we can pour out our heart with the assurance that He will not leave us without an answer to that great problem. Then we are to fill our minds with those things that are good. They are mentioned in the Scriptures as being things that are true, honourable, just, pure, lovely, of good report, and of virtue. It is upon these things that we are to think. Live positively, not negatively. There is so much ‘stuff’ happening in the world around us that it is easy to get drawn into it. But let’s not be those people – let’s fix our eyes upon Jesus and live the life He calls each one of us to. This is the day the Lord has made – let us REJOICE and be glad in it!
The Blackie Family is away in Nelson this weekend celebrating my Dad’s 80th birthday. It is with grateful hearts that we thank the Thomas Family for leading and speaking at our service today.
With love & blessings,
Sandra
