Many in the world today view the Bible as outdated and not relevant in this present age. But we know that the Word of God is not simply a collection of words from Him or a way for Him to communicate ideas – but it is living, life changing and dynamic as it works in us. With the incisiveness of a very sharp knife, God’s Word reveals who we are and what we are not. It penetrates the core of our moral and spiritual life. It discerns what is within us, both good and not so good!
The demands of God’s Word require us to make decisions – we must not only listen to the Word but we must also let it shape our lives. Sometimes this is easy and other times it is painful but ultimately it is for our benefit. Are you letting the Word of God shape your life today?
