Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee.
Psalm 100 tells us we are to enter His presence with thanksgiving and praise. What does it mean to live a grateful life?
Gratitude is our greatest weapon against feeling entitled and against complacency. Gratitude redirects our attention from our lack to God’s provision and blessings. How do we cultivate a grateful heart? Apparently it takes 21 days to create a new habit. That’s 3 weeks of doing the same thing, and in the case of gratitude it is a case of changing our heart. What was the last thing you thanked God for? Are we more interested in what we haven’t got than what we have been given? What might be blocking us from cultivating gratitude in our hearts?
If you want to develop and foster an attitude of gratitude let’s begin by each day thanking God for who He is and all He has given us. I encourage you if you don’t already, to simply do just this for 3 weeks and reflect on how differently you view things around you at the end. I’m sure you wont’ be disappointed!
With love & blessings,
Sandra
