Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee.

It was so encouraging at the end of last weeks service on ‘Vision’ to see people standing (ministering to the saved) and sitting (ministering to the unsaved) across the age spectrum and across the ‘axis’ of word, sign and deed. It seemed to me that all areas were covered!

As we press in to the vision God has given us as His church (Creating Christ’s community give Hope to the unreached and reached……….) we will all be involved in different ways using the different gifts God has given us. But of course the most important tool we have to begin with is prayer. This must be the foundation of everything we do.

With the commencement of CJC (Cashmere Jesus Club) at Cashmere High School last week and seeing such an overwhelming response from the youth, there is no doubt in my mind that it comes down primarily to the huge amount of prayer that has gone before this. God is faithful! And He calls us to be faithful in continuing to pray for what He is calling us to.

To this end can I encourage you to come along to our weekly Thursday prayer meeting at 12 noon and/or our monthly Wednesday night prayer meeting held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
