Welcome to our service today.  It’s great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee.

What is your ‘go to’ book in the Bible? What is the book that when you really need to hear from God you turn to without thinking? For me, it’s the book of Psalms.

The book of Psalms is at the centre of the Bible. This great collection of songs and prayers expresses the heart and soul of humanity. In them we find the whole range of human experiences expressed. David and other writers honestly pour out their true feelings, reflecting a powerful and life-changing friendship with God. They confess their sins, express their doubts and fears, ask God for help in times of trouble, and praise and worship Him.

Because of the honesty expressed by these writers, people throughout history have come again and again for comfort in times of struggle, to rise from depths of despair and to find joy and praise as they discover the power of God’s love and forgiveness.

This is why I love the book of Psalms 🙂

With love & blessings,

Sandra
