I’ve been thinking about heroes this week. Who is your hero? And before you answer Superman or Wonder Woman I don’t mean of the comic book type! I mean who is your spiritual hero?
Of course the obvious answer is Jesus! But who is that person you know or have known that follows Jesus passionately and with integrity? Who is that person that exhibits the Fruit of the Spirit in their life and carries the presence of God? Who is that person who loves the Word of God and is passionate about living it out in their life? Who is that person you know who is a pray-er that will pray for you and pray for your family? It is good to have these people in our lives, and it is good to be that person for others…..have you thought of that? We too can be someone else’s spiritual hero if we allow God to shape our life to be that passionate follower of Jesus who lives a life of faith with integrity, who loves the Word of God and who prays for others. That’s my wee encouragement for this week…
