Welcome to our service today.  It’s great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee. If this is your first time at BBC we especially welcome you.

How often do we compare ourselves to others? I do it, I see others around me do it. I particularly see a lot of the youth today doing it. Our thinking says ‘I want to be like them’. ‘I’m not as good as them’. ‘Why can’t I be like that’….and so on. It’s called comparative thinking and it’s not good for us! God made us in His image and has created us uniquely and gifted us uniquely. We’re not meant to be like anyone else! In Psalm 46:1 it reads – ‘God is our refuge and strength’. Next time we start wrong thinking let’s turn to God our refuge and ask Him to remind us how loved we are by Him, how precious we are to Him and how much He delights in us just as He’s made us.

With love & blessings

Sandra
