Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for morning tea.
Children are precious to the heart of God, and this week has been a beautiful reminder of that truth. As Jesus welcomed children and declared that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these, we have seen that same heart reflected in our church family through our Kids’ Holiday Programme.
We want to give thanks for every person who served – those who led, organised, prayed, cooked, cleaned, played games, told stories, and simply showed up with love and joy. Your willingness to invest time and energy into the lives of our children has eternal significance. You have created a space where they are not only cared for, but where they can encounter the love of Christ in real and meaningful ways and hear the Gospel proclaimed clearly.
As a church family, we share the privilege and responsibility of nurturing these young lives. Through your faithfulness this week, seeds have been planted – seeds of truth, belonging, and faith that God will continue to grow. May we never underestimate the impact of what has been sown. Thank you for serving so generously, and for reflecting the heart of Jesus to our children. What a gift it is to be part of a community that treasures them so deeply.
