5th April 2026

Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for morning tea.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the heartbeat of Easter and the foundation of our hope. When the stone was rolled away and the tomb was found empty, it wasn’t just a miraculous moment – it was a decisive victory. Death was defeated, sin was conquered, and a new way to life was opened for all who believe.

In rising from the grave, Jesus proved that His words were true. Every promise, every claim, every declaration of love was confirmed in that single, glorious act. The resurrection reminds us that even when everything seems lost, God is still at work. What looked like the end on Good Friday became the beginning of eternal hope on Easter Sunday.

For us today, the resurrection means that we are not bound by our past, our failures, or our fears. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in us – bringing renewal, restoration, and new life. We are invited to live as resurrection people: full of hope, grounded in truth, and confident in God’s promises. This Easter, let’s take a moment to reflect on the empty tomb. It declares that nothing is impossible for God. Because He lives we can face tomorrow with courage, joy, and unshakable faith.

With love & blessings,

Sandra
