Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for morning tea.
I don’t know about you, but sometimes I wish I knew the future so I could better prepare for it! God has chosen not to give us this knowledge. He alone knows what will happen, but He does tell us what we need to know to prepare for the future. When we live by His standards, He will not leave us. He will come to us, He will be in us and He will show Himself to us. God knows what will happen and, because He will be with us through it all, we need not fear. We don’t have to know the future to have faith in God, but we do have to have faith in God to be secure about the future.
In uncertain times, it’s easy to feel anxious about the future. But as believers, we are called to trust God with our tomorrows. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to “trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” God’s plan for us is good, even when we can’t see the way forward. Remember that He holds the future in His hands, and He works all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). Let go of worry and surrender your future to Him, trusting that He will guide you every step of the way.
With love & blessings,
Sandra
