24th November 2024

Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for morning tea.

Gratitude is a powerful practice that transforms our hearts and our relationship with God. Scripture reminds us to give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus (1 Thes 5:18). Gratitude shifts our focus from what we lack to what we have, and most importantly, it helps us recognise God’s faithfulness in every season.

In moments of trial or uncertainty, we may struggle to see reasons for gratitude. Yet, even in the hardest times, we are called to give thanks, for God’s love never fails. He is with us through every storm, and His promises remain true. When we cultivate gratitude, it nurtures a spirit of peace and trust in God’s provision. We can be thankful for His presence, His grace, and the hope we have in Christ.

Psalm 103:2 says, “Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all His benefits.” Let us remember all that God has done for us – He forgives, heals, redeems, and crowns us with love and compassion. As we count our blessings, we honour the One who gives them. Today, let your heart overflow with gratitude, for God is good and His mercy endures forever.

Blessings, Sandra
