Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for morning tea.
As Christians we have been given both a privilege and a great responsibility. The privilege is that we have received forgiveness for our sins by grace through our faith in Jesus. This is totally undeserved yet God has given us all this free gift if we choose to accept it.
We have also received the responsibility to share the message of God’s forgiveness with others. When we receive God’s forgiveness we begin and commit ourselves to a new way of life. We see that Paul was called as a missionary to do this – and thousands of others have also been called to this task overseas throughout the years. God may or may not call us overseas to share the gospel, but He does call us and all believers to witness to and be an example of the changed life that Jesus Christ has begun and continues in us. As we go about our daily lives, let’s pray that God will bring someone across our path each day that we can share the gospel with.
