Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee.

We would also love to have you join us at our church picnic after the service at Bradford Park off Strickland St. If you need a ride just ask the welcome team.

As a farmer must wait patiently for their crops to grow they cannot hurry the process. But they don’t take a season off and hope that all goes well in the fields. There is always much work to be done to ensure a good harvest. In the same way we must wait patiently for Christ’s return. No one knows the day or the hour (Matt 24:36) and we cannot make Him come back any sooner! However while we wait there is much work to be done to advance God’s Kingdom. Both the farmer and the Christian must live by faith, looking toward to the future reward for their labours. However in the meantime we must be sowing (sharing the Gospel), tending the crops (discipling) and caring for the land (prayer). As we do this the harvest will come and we will be ready for the Lord’s return when His time is right.

Blessings, Sandra
