Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee.
We can see quite plainly in the scriptures how much Paul cared and loved the believers he spoke to, encouraged, warned, exhorted, walked with and lived with. This was so much so that in Acts 20 we read “‘for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears” and “then they all wept freely and fell on Paul’s neck and kissed him…”
Paul’s relationship with these believers is a beautiful example of Christian fellowship. He had cared for them and loved them and even cried over their needs. They responded with love and care for him and sorrow over his leaving. They had prayed together and comforted one another. Like Paul, we can build strong relationships with other Christians by sharing, caring, sorrowing, rejoicing and praying with them. We will gather others around us as we give ourselves away to them. To this end I encourage those who aren’t already part of a Life Group here at BBC to be involved in one as these are places where we build deeper relationships with one another.
Blessings, Sandra
