Welcome to our service today. It is great to have you here and we would love to invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea and coffee and for the shared lunch afterwards.
A bad attitude is something people can have without even realising it. A person may think they are just having private inner thoughts, yet people pick up on attitude, even if they don’t know exactly what it is. We can also have critical attitudes toward others. Sometimes finding fault in others can cause us to feel better about ourselves as terrible as that may sound! These attitudes can permeate our personality, bring division among others and limit friendships.
It is so important that we seek the Holy Spirit and ask Him to reveal any of these attitudes that may be in us. They are certainly not pleasing to God. When we rid ourselves with the help of the Holy Spirit of anger, anxiety, fear, pride or a critical spirit and pursue righteousness we will discover God’s goodness, grace, love, peace, joy and power in our lives. And isn’t that the kind of person God is calling us to be?
Blessings, Sandra
