No matter what happens in our lives, we must never give up on the Lord, for He will never give up on us. God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He has promised many things in His Word to us, including hope and a great future. So no matter what happens, those promises will stand.
Everyday we must put our future in God’s hands, because the most important thing about our future is what He says, not what man says. He is our future and our future will be found by walking with Him today. When we do that, God will be preparing us each day for the future He has for us. We mustn’t get discouraged if things don’t seem to be happening as quickly as we would like. They seldom do! And that is probably because while God is making things happen in our lives, He is also doing an even more important work inside of us. There are always lessons He wants us to learn. Let us ask Him to help us to learn them well.
